We are a thriving Ballarat printing company that is seeking a keen and passionate individual to undertake an offset printing machinist apprenticeship.
Who you Are
You will describe yourself as someone who is self motivated, able to work independently and takes pride in your work. You will be physically capable of being able to manually lift paper and boxes and perform manual tasks on the machine.
The Prospect
This role will see you in our learning in our lithographic print department. Your main objective is to be a skilled machinist who will be ensuring productive and timely production to the highest standard of offset jobs produced on our modern high quality offset press.
The role is measured on quality, accurate & timely production while maintaining standards of work and safety.
On Job training and schooling providing on site, all training expenses reimbursed.
Working Monday to Friday day shift. Overtime rates paid where applicable.
To be successful for this great role you will have a reliable, positive attitude and ability to fit into a happy, friendly team.
Start date is flexible, we are looking for someone to start prior to Christmas or possibly after our Christmas closure on 11th January.
