We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager to lead procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship activities across our growing aged care organisation.

In this influential role, you will ensure our homes, services, and teams have access to the goods and services they need to deliver exceptional care to older Australians while driving value, compliance, and operational excellence.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing contracts and supplier performance, and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.

You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across operations, finance, facilities, hospitality, clinical services, and corporate functions to ensure procurement practices support both business objectives and resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies across the organisation.

- Lead end-to-end tendering, sourcing, and contract negotiation processes.

- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, value, and service delivery.

- Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and identifying contractual risks and obligations

- Experience using procurement, contract management, and procure-to-pay (P2P)



systems to manage sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance activities

- Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.

- Ensure procurement activities comply with organisational policies, governance requirements, and relevant legislation.

- Analyse spend data and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership.

- Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective procurement solutions.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and contract management processes.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

- Experience managing complex supplier contracts and vendor relationships.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.

- Experience working in healthcare, aged care, community services, or a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related field advantageous
