Product Owner - Marketing Data & Insights - Contract opportunity in large transformation

Join a large-scale transformation focused on rebuilding the data foundations that support marketing, analytics, reporting, personalisation and customer decisioning

As the Product Owner, you will take ownership of a central marketing data platform and ensure it delivers trusted, fit-for-purpose data products. You'll work closely with marketing stakeholders, data analysts, engineers, architects and delivery teams to prioritise use cases, support releases and drive adoption across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

- Own the product roadmap, backlog and priorities for the marketing data platform
- Translate marketing and business needs into clear data requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Determine which data is most valuable and prioritise use cases accordingly
- Support data validation, UAT, defect triage and release readiness
- Investigate data quality, reconciliation and reporting issues
- Ensure the platform and its outputs are practical and fit for purpose for marketing teams




- Drive adoption and help stakeholders maximise the value of available data
- Work across several interconnected transformation streams and marketing use cases

What we're looking for
- Product Owner, Data Product Owner or technically minded Senior BA experience
- Marketing technology or customer data experience will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of how data supports marketing, reporting, personalisation and decision-making
- Basic hands-on SQL capability, including logging in, running queries and using joins
- Ability to work between business users, delivery teams and technical specialists
- Experience translating business needs into data and platform requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
