About the Role

Whether you're an experienced manufacturing leader or ready to take the next step in your career, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team while developing your leadership capability within a global organisation.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll lead a 24/5 manufacturing operation, driving safety, performance and continuous improvement with the support of experienced leaders and ongoing development opportunities.

This is more than a production leadership role; it's a chance to influence culture, drive operational excellence, and help shape the future of a high-performing manufacturing site.

In this role, you will:

- Lead, coach and develop three production teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and high performance.
- Champion a strong safety culture where the wellbeing of every team member comes first.
- Drive quality, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.




- Partner with engineering, maintenance and technical teams to implement best-practice manufacturing solutions.
- Build valuable experience in strategic planning, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and operational leadership.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in manufacturing environments and is passionate about developing people, improving processes and delivering results. You'll ideally have:

- Experience in manufacturing, operations, production or process industries, ideally gained within a continuous manufacturing environment.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience or a strong desire to take the next step into a people leadership role.
- Exposure to continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, process optimisation or quality systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic operational environment.
- A genuine passion for creating secure, engaged and high-performing teams.
