We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaner to join our daytime cleaning team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanleness across various client sites while following KCLD procedures, workplace safety requirements and allocated cleaning schedules. This is a hands-on role requiring good time management, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, toilets and washrooms
- Cleaning kitchens, staff rooms and communal areas
- Dusting and wiping desks, furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Cleaning internal glass, mirrors, doors and windows
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Replenishing toilet paper, hand towels, soap and other consumables
- Removing cobwebs and cleaning skirting boards, walls, switches and high-touch surfaces
- Following allocated cleaning schedules and run sheets
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards
About you
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Valid Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or a visa permitting work in Australia)
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:15 pm
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Positive communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Physical capability to undertake cleaning duties safely, with reasonable adjustments where required
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
