Charterhouse + ACU

We’re excited to share that Charterhouse has been selected as ACU’s recruitment partner for a handful of critical hires on their Workday ERP Transformation. This is one of them, and we’d love to hear from you if it sounds like your kind of challenge.

About ACU

ACU has a bold vision for its future. ACU is a publicly funded university with seven campuses around Australia, more than 200 partner universities on six continents and a campus in Rome. It’s one of the largest university contributors to the care economy in Australia and ranks among the top universities worldwide. Staff are supported with a positive culture, generous leave and flexible work arrangements, and everyone is welcome to engage with the mission, whether as Catholics, members of other faiths, or people with no religious affiliation who embrace the vision and strategic direction.

About the Corporate Services Portfolio The Corporate Services Portfolio enables and fosters an engaging student and workplace experience through services aligned to ACU’s Identity and Mission and Strategic Plan. Its priorities are to lead with respect, integrity and courage, strive for excellence through continuous improvement, deliver quality services to students, staff and stakeholders, work collaboratively, and act responsibly and sustainably in the stewardship of resources.

About the ERP Transformation Program The Workday ERP Transformation Program is a multi-year enterprise initiative delivering an integrated Human Capital Management, Payroll, Time Tracking & Scheduling and Financial Management platform. Working within an established governance framework, you’ll provide authoritative project advice and contribute to enterprise-wide program outcomes.

What you’ll do

- Manage defined project activities and work packages, including delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, keeping outcomes within agreed scope, quality, budget and timeframes
- Apply and interpret project governance frameworks and methodologies to support successful delivery
- Develop, maintain and continuously refine integrated project schedules and delivery plans, leading cross-functional workshops with workstream leads and SMEs to identify dependencies, critical path activities, resource needs and delivery risks
- Lead the identification, assessment and management of risks, issues, actions and dependencies across your workstreams, with evidence-based recommendations for program leadership
- Build and maintain productive relationships with business leaders, project teams, technology teams, implementation partners and vendors
- Monitor and analyse project performance and delivery metrics to spot trends, emerging risks and variances, and advise workstream leads and program leadership on how to improve delivery
- Lead and facilitate project meetings and workshops, capture decisions and actions, and act as delegate for the Program Director on designated matters
- Manage and monitor project financial, resource and procurement activities, including expenditure tracking, forecasting, resource planning, vendor engagement and contract administration
- Develop and improve project management processes,

tools and documentation, including plans, registers, templates, SharePoint/Teams repositories and governance artefacts
- Provide project management advice, guidance and mentoring to workstream leads, team members and stakeholders

About you

- Demonstrated experience in program or project management, including planning, monitoring and delivering defined project activities or work packages
- Experience working in a complex program, transformation or technology implementation environment, preferably ERP, HRIS or Workday (large-scale transformation experience is desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyse and manage project risks, issues, actions and dependencies, and recommend practical mitigation or resolution strategies
- Strong planning and organisational skills, including developing delivery plans, managing competing priorities, and coordinating resources to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret project information, spot emerging concerns and give practical recommendations
- Experience leading project governance processes, including meeting papers, agendas, minutes, action tracking and project records
- Experience preparing high-quality project reporting, dashboards, decision papers and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of building relationships and coordinating outcomes across multidisciplinary teams
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in project or program delivery; knowledge of recognised project delivery methodologies and tools is advantageous
- A demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and ethical practice, and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and workplace health and safety
