About the role

You'll own a portfolio of commercial projects at the same time. You'll be the main contact for builders and head contractors, and you'll work closely with our Estimating & Tender Manager, our Leading Hand Carpenter and our operations team.

Key responsibilities

- Handover from estimating, and reviewing contracts, scope, drawings and specifications

- Building and managing project programs that line up with the builder's master program

- Coordinating site labour, subcontractors, material procurement and deliveries

- Managing budgets, cost tracking, variations and monthly progress claims

- Attending builder site meetings and managing RFIs, submissions and shop drawings

- Overseeing site safety and documentation (SWMS, inductions, QA/ITPs) to builder requirements

- Ensuring quality, defects close-out and on-time handover

- Using Simpro for job management, scheduling, purchasing and reporting

- Reporting job performance and margins to the Directors

- Helping review tenders and price variations with the estimating team

About you

- 3 years' project management experience in commercial fitout, shopfitting, refurbishment or interiors
- A subcontractor or trade-package background (carpentry, partitions/ceilings, doors & hardware) is highly regarded

- Strong commercial skills: you know how to protect margin through variations,



claims and cost control

- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

- Confident managing builders, site supervisors and trades

- Trade background in carpentry or a construction management/building qualification preferred

- Experience with Simpro or similar job management software (advantageous)

- White Card, a current driver's licence and full Australian work rights
