About the role

We are seeking qualified and experienced Trainers/Assessors in a range of industries:

- Business

- Leadership and Management

- Project Management

The Trainer/Assessor will apply their skills and knowledge to deliver, assess and validate our training products and continuously improve training under the direction of the RTO Manager.

The Trainer/Assessor will have the responsibility for the delivery, assessment and validation of high-quality training products in line with government regulations and legislation, National Standards, National Quality Framework, and organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Utilising a broad range of activities, resources, and assessment methods to ensure training and assessment meets the requirements of targeted cohorts of students, with an awareness of cultural and inclusivity practices

- Establishing industry networks for the purpose of consultation and engagement, piloting training products, and gathering feedback

- Developing rapport with students and managing student enquiries professionally and promptly

- Delivering training products in accordance with training package requirements

- Assessing student submissions in accordance with training package requirements





- Leading and participating in review and validation processes and reporting outcomes

- Leading continuous improvement and risk management processes and reporting outcomes

- Ensuring maintenance of industry currency

About you

- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or higher

- Hold an Advanced Diploma qualification or higher in either: Business, Leadership and Management, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Childcare, or Individual Support

- Understanding of either the CHC or BSB training package, including units of competency relevant to qualifications in either: Business, Leadership and Management, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Childcare, or Individual Support

- Understanding of current best practice within the business industry, including regulations, legislation and reporting requirements

- Understanding of a variety of training delivery and assessment modes and their suitability for various applications

- Understanding of Recognition of Prior Learning and Credit Transfer and their applications

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

- Sound administration skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams

- Hold a current driver's licence

- Have a willingness to travel if required
