About the role

Reporting to Quality Assurance Team Leader, the Quality Control (QC) Shift Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Quality and Safety requirements for manufacturing operations. This role acts as a key liaison between production, warehouse, and QA teams to maintain data integrity and resolve quality issues on-site.

This role is vacant as a result of an internal movement due to growth and development.

The purpose of the role is to support production quality, strengthen QC–production relationships, and “move the dial” on performance and engagement with production staff.

Key Responsibilities (First 6 Months)

Build a strong understanding of:

- Production processes and operations (including “red zone” areas);

- QC procedures and standards;

- Develop relationships with both QC and production teams;

- Earn trust and respect across teams;

- Contribute to improving communication and collaboration.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in Dairy/Food, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field;

- Would suit a recent Graduate;

- Experience in a high care food/dairy processing environment is a bonus;

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills & Proficiency in MS Office;

- High level organisational and time management skills;

- Flexibility to work in a small team and to perform other duties as necessary;0

- Knowledge of HACCP Principles (CCP's);

- Knowledge of GMP Principles;

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;

- Mandarin language skills seen as an advantage.
