Perth or Sydney | Global Engineering Company | Technical Proposals

Join a global engineering organisation specialising in mechanical solutions for the mining, industrial and process industries.

We are seeking a Proposals Manager with experience in technical proposals, applications engineering or tendering who enjoys combining engineering expertise with commercial opportunities. This role will be autonomous with no reports.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals for engineered mechanical solutions, including mechanical seals, dry gas seals and associated equipment.

Working with engineering teams, EPC contractors, OEMs and end users, your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing technical specifications, tender documents and customer requirements.
- Preparing technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
- Coordinating with engineering, sales and internal teams to develop solutions.
- Engaging with EPC contractors, consultants and OEMs to support project opportunities.
- Supporting product specifications and approved vendor registrations.
- Managing proposal documentation, commercial terms, approvals and deadlines.
- Liaising with international engineering teams as required.

About You

Ideally,



you will have a mechanical engineering background or relevant technical experience within pumps, mechanical seals, rotating equipment or engineered industrial products.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

- Experience in technical proposals, applications engineering, estimating or tendering.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in mining, industrial or process applications.
- Strong organisational, communication and commercial skills.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, OEMs or engineering consultants would be advantageous.

A mechanical engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
