Relief Building Manager – Casual / Ad Hoc Shifts

Ideal for Semi-Retired or Experienced Building Managers Seeking Additional Work

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Relief Building Manager to provide casual, ad hoc coverage at a well-established residential strata building in Sydney CBD.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a semi-retired Building Manager, an experienced BM currently working part-time, or someone looking to pick up additional shifts without committing to regular full time hours.

Hours & Availability

Shifts will be offered on an ongoing, as-needed basis, depending on operational requirements, staff leave and relief coverage.

Available shifts may include

- Morning: 8:00am – 12:00pm
- Afternoon: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
- Full Day: 8:00am – 4:00pm

There are no guaranteed weekly hours. However, we are looking to establish an ongoing arrangement with someone who is flexible and available to assist when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee front desk operations during allocated shifts.
- Assist residents with general enquiries and building matters.
- Coordinate and provide access for contractors attending the building.
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas and plant rooms.
- Monitor building presentation, security and general operations.
- Report maintenance issues or incidents to the principal Building Manager.
- Provide professional and reliable onsite coverage.





About You The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a residential Building Manager or Relief Building Manager.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
- Flexibility to accept occasional shifts, including at short notice where possible.
- Familiarity with residential strata building operations.
