Recovery First is seeking professional, motivated and passionate therapists to join our South Melbourne clinic. The role involves delivering massage and therapeutic treatments within the practitioner's qualifications and scope of practice in a professional, supportive and growing clinical practice.
About you
- Qualified Remedial Massage Therapist holding a Diploma of Remedial Massage, or Qualified Myotherapist holding an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
- Currently studying Remedial Massage or Myotherapy with a relevant massage certificate or qualification
- Relaxation Massage Therapists – Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or another relevant recognised massage qualification
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy graduate
- Recent graduate seeking to develop professional skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience in relaxation or remedial massage techniques
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Qualified insurance appropriate to the treatments provided
Key responsibilities
- Deliver massage and therapeutic treatments within the practitioner's qualifications and scope of practice
- Perform appropriate client assessments
- Assist clients with muscle tension, mobility and injury recovery where qualified
- Maintain accurate treatment records
- Ensure excellent client care and professional standards
