Our practice focuses predominantly on clinical remedial massage, helping clients manage muscular discomfort, improve mobility, support recovery and maintain their physical wellbeing.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our growing team in a permanent full-time position.

About the Role

You will provide high-quality, individualised remedial massage treatments, combining clinical assessment, evidence-informed techniques and professional treatment planning.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting client consultations and assessing musculoskeletal conditions, soft tissue dysfunction and movement restrictions.
- Developing and implementing individualised remedial massage treatment plans.
- Providing remedial massage using appropriate techniques, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and soft tissue mobilisation.
- Monitoring treatment outcomes and adjusting treatment plans according to client progress.
- Providing clients with appropriate stretching, movement and self-management recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records, including assessment findings and treatment notes.
- Recognising contraindications and referring clients to appropriate healthcare professionals when required.
- Maintaining professional hygiene, infection control and workplace health and safety standards.
- Contributing to a collaborative,



professional and supportive clinical environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must demonstrate:
- A Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52021 or recognised equivalent), or a higher relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant professional remedial massage experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, musculoskeletal assessment and remedial treatment techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment, treatment planning and client management.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-centred approach.
- Eligibility for professional association membership and private health fund provider recognition, where applicable.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain these before commencing employment.

An Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy or additional clinical qualifications will be highly regarded.
