Prof Services is seeking experienced removalist owner drivers with their own truck for part-time contract assignments across Melbourne. We have furniture removals and rubbish removal jobs to complete and need reliable contractors who can take care of customers and their property.
The work includes loading and securing furniture, transporting household items, unloading at the destination, and collecting approved unwanted items for lawful disposal or recycling. Use safe lifting methods and suitable assistance for heavy or awkward loads.
You must supply your own registered, roadworthy truck suitable for the jobs you accept, a licence for that vehicle, and removal equipment such as blankets, straps and a trolley. Relevant removalist experience, an ABN, appropriate business and vehicle insurance, and explicit customer communication are required.
Pay:
AUD $80-$110 per hour for one owner driver supplying their truck, depending on vehicle capacity, experience and job requirements. This is a contractor service rate including truck operating costs. Any additional crew, disposal fees, tolls and GST where applicable must be agreed separately before accepting the job.
Flexible part-time contract assignments, subject to bookings and your availability; no guaranteed weekly hours. Please apply with your experience, truck type and capacity, service suburbs, availability, and whether you can provide an additional removalist when needed.
