As Research and Development Manager you will be responsible for providing cutting-edge medical imaging solutions. You will take the project through the full research and development cycle, from concept and feasibility through to validation, regulatory compliance and commercialization.

Key responsibilities include

Overseeing and directing all research and development activities in the organization.

Developing and executing R&D; strategies to meet business needs.

Awareness of trends and emerging technologies in medical imaging and healthcare technology.

Collaborating with clinicians, radiologists, health care providers, academic institutions and industry.

Securing and administering research grants, partnerships, and collaborative projects.

Compliance with relevant regulatory, quality and industry norms

Building a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and scientific excellence.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Science, Medical Research, Diagnostic Imaging or related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Experience in medical imaging, healthcare technology, medical practice or related industry.

Strong leadership and management experience of multi-disciplinary technical teams.

Demonstrated capacity to oversee R&D; projects from concept to completion.





Experience with regulatory systems as they apply to medical technologies.

Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Strong Analytical & Problem Solving skills;

Required Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Biomedical Science and/or research discipline.
