About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis in Karratha, WA 6714. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining compliance with all liquor licensing regulations, and leading a team of bar staff.

As Bar

Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a positive work environment whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence. This position is integral to the success of our venue and directly impacts the experience of our members and guests.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising and managing bar staff, including scheduling, training, mentoring and performance management
- Ensuring all staff comply with responsible beverage service practices and liquor licensing laws
- Monitoring stock levels and managing inventory, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stocktakes
- Maintaining accurate cash handling procedures, reconciling till registers and processing financial transactions
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensuring the bar area is clean,



well-maintained and compliant with health and safety standards
- Preparing cocktails and serving beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Maintaining knowledge of current beverage offerings, specials and promotional activities
- Liaising with management regarding bar performance, staffing needs and operational improvements
- Adhering to all club policies, procedures and regulatory requirements at all times

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a bar environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of responsible beverage service and liquor licensing legislation in Western Australia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in cash handling, EPOS systems and bar management software
- Advanced bartending skills and comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers and cocktail preparation
- Outstanding customer service orientation with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or ability to obtain one
- Current Food Safety Supervisor or Level 2 Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Versatile availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- A genuine passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional service

Pay: $58,600.00 – $86,500.00 per year

Experience

- Bartending: 2 years (Preferred)
