About the role

In this role, you’ll support the Senior Director, Risk & Property to strengthen and continuously improve World Vision Australia’s enterprise risk, compliance and assurance frameworks. Partnering with leaders and teams across the organisation, you’ll help build risk capability, monitor legal and regulatory obligations, coordinate assurance and accreditation activities, and promote a robust culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the maintenance and ongoing improvement of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
- Facilitate risk assessments and help business areas develop, review and monitor strategic and operational risk registers.
- Coordinate compliance obligations, monitoring activities, targeted reviews and regulatory change processes.
- Work with policy owners to strengthen policy governance, implementation and accountability.
- Develop clear compliance reports, dashboards, training content and practical guidance for stakeholders.
- Coordinate assurance, internal audit, accreditation and due diligence activities, including action tracking and follow-up.
- Assess compliance issues and reportable incidents, supporting timely remediation, escalation and regulatory notification where required.
- Build strong relationships across World Vision Australia and with global compliance colleagues to support consistent risk and compliance practices.

Who We’re Looking For

A practical and collaborative risk and compliance professional who can influence stakeholders, strengthen organisational capability and turn complex obligations into clear, workable solutions.

You’ll bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, risk, compliance, governance or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, methodologies and regulatory obligations across complex organisations.
- Working knowledge of enterprise risk management, including risk identification,



assessment, treatment, monitoring and reporting.
- Experience establishing, embedding or improving a pragmatic, risk-based compliance function.
- Experience facilitating risk assessments and supporting teams to manage compliance and operational risks.
- Familiarity with internal audit, assurance, accreditation or governance processes.
- The ability to interpret legal, regulatory and policy requirements and translate them into practical business expectations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience working with executives and governance committees.
- The ability to navigate a matrixed environment, balance competing priorities and deliver outcomes through collaboration.
