We are seeking an experienced Upstream Field Safety & Environment (S&E;) Integration Advisor for a 12-month contract supporting upstream field operations.

Working on a 15/13 FIFO roster from Brisbane, you will drive safety and environmental performance, support regulatory compliance and strengthen field-based assurance processes.

A key focus will be coaching and mentoring S&E; Advisors, improving risk-based assurance programs and supporting an ISO 14001-certified Environmental Management System.

Key Responsibilities

- Coach and mentor field-based S&E; Advisors, supporting capability development and cross-skilling.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSSE Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Develop and improve field-based assurance tools, procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct risk-based assurance activities, inspections and compliance audits.
- Analyse assurance findings and risk data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support risk register reviews and the effectiveness of safety and environmental controls.




- Engage with stakeholders to promote a proactive safety and environmental culture.

About You To be successful, you will have:

- A degree in Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' environmental management experience in oil and gas, energy or heavy industry.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 14001, HSSE Management Systems and relevant Australian legislation.
- Experience with field assurance, risk management, compliance audits and environmental regulatory requirements.
- Proven coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop S&E; personnel.
- A current driver's licence and the ability to work in remote field environments.

A complementary Diploma in Safety or Environmental Sustainability, along with experience developing assurance reporting tools and dashboards, will be advantageous. Full Australian working rights are required for this role
