About the Role

We're looking for an experienced In-Home Sales Consultant who can hit the ground running.

This is not an entry-level role. You'll be expected to confidently measure, quote, and close sales across a full range of window furnishings and external shading systems, while managing your jobs through to installation.

You'll work autonomously, take ownership of your results, and play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and service.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conducting in-home consultations across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula

- Measuring, quoting, and selling blinds, shutters, awnings, and outdoor shading systems

- Providing tailored, practical solutions based on client needs and budget

- Following up quotes and maintaining a strong conversion rate (target 65%)

- Managing your own schedule, pipeline, and sales activity

- Taking full ownership of jobs from sale through to installation

- Ensuring all measurements, specifications,



and job details are accurate and well documented

- Working closely with installers to ensure smooth delivery and minimal issues

- Resolving any variations or issues quickly and professionally

- Identifying and generating additional sales opportunities beyond company leads

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 2+ years' experience in window furnishings, blinds, shutters, or a similar industry

- Proven ability to measure, quote, and close sales confidently

- Specific experience in in-home sales is essential for this role

- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is critical in a custom product environment
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and manage their own workload

- Someone who takes ownership and accountability for their jobs

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Professional presentation and strong customer focus

- Ability to balance field work with admin and documentation

- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
