About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Person to join our team at our Noosaville store. This is a full-time position where you will be at the heart of our retail operations, delivering outstanding service to our customers and driving sales growth. As a Sales Person, you will play a crucial role in representing YardWorx Equipment and ensuring every customer receives expert guidance and support in selecting the products that best suit their needs.

Key responsibilities

- Provide knowledgeable and attentive customer service to clients visiting the store, assisting them in selecting appropriate equipment and products
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and professionally, utilising point-of-sale systems and processing payments
- Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about current inventory, pricing, promotions and special offers
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, organising displays and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Answer customer enquiries regarding product specifications, availability and delivery options




- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive store workplace
- Recommend products based on customer requirements and budget considerations

What we're looking for

- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in sales or customer service roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers
- A genuine passion for helping customers and delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting
- Sound numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn
- Physical capability to handle equipment, stock shelves and perform regular retail duties
- Reliability and punctuality with a professional approach to work
- Enthusiasm for outdoor equipment and gardening products is advantageous
- The ability to remain calm and solution-focused when managing customer queries or concerns
