Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hands-on Salvage Yard Sales / Yard Operator. This is a permanent position combining yard work, quality checks and customer sales, with regular pick-ups and deliveries from site.
Key responsibilities
- Sell salvaged materials to trade and retail customers
- Receive salvage from demolition sites, clean, stack and store it correctly
- Carry out quality checks so stock is safe, presentable and accurately described
- Keep the yard neat, organised and safe
- Pick up and deliver salvage using company vehicles
- Operate a forklift to load, unload and move stock
- Work closely with the demolition and yard teams
About you
You will need
- A current Western Australian driver licence
- A current forklift licence
- To be physically fit and comfortable with manual work in a yard environment
- A practical, can-do attitude and the ability to work at pace
- The ability to juggle sales and yard tasks
- Clear, friendly communication with customers and teammates
Construction, demolition, salvage, hardware or yard experience is preferred but not essential. Enthusiasm and reliability matter more.
