About the Role

AMG Security is seeking professional, reliable and well-presented Security Officers to join our growing team across Melbourne.

We have casual and part time positions available, primarily at university sites across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as well as corporate and commercial sites throughout Melbourne CBD.

We are looking for security professionals with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a professional and visible security presence.

- Monitor site access and ensure only authorised personnel enter restricted areas.

- Conduct regular patrols and monitor security systems where required.

- Assist students, staff, visitors and contractors professionally.

- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures.

- Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports and handover documentation.

- Follow site-specific procedures and client instructions.

Essential Requirements

- Current Victorian Security Licence with the appropriate endorsements.

- Valid Employee Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.





- Professional presentation and a customer-focused attitude.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.

- Previous university, corporate or concierge security experience will be highly regarded.
