A senior strategy role running growth engagements day to day for major corporates and high growth businesses. You will own problem solving, analysis and client delivery across energy, resources, infrastructure and financial services.
This suits a structured thinker who wants partner exposure, real ownership and a fast track in a growing partnership. The role is hybrid in Sydney, working alongside partners with long careers at the world’s leading strategy firms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day delivery of growth strategy engagements, from problem definition through to final recommendations
- Structure the problem, set hypotheses and build the workplan for each engagement
- Lead the core analysis: market sizing, customer and competitor work, pricing, value chain and financial modelling
- Manage, review and coach analysts and consultants on the team
- Own senior client relationships and run working sessions and steering committees
- Shape the storyline and write board and executive committee materials
- Support partners on proposals, scoping and business development
- Contribute to market entry, M&A; and inorganic growth work
Required Experience:
- 4 years in strategy consulting, ideally at MBB or a top tier strategy boutique
- Proven experience leading workstreams or a small team on client engagements
- Track record in growth strategy, market entry, pricing or commercial due diligence
- Strong financial modelling and storylining, with output that is ready for executives
- Exposure to energy, resources, infrastructure or financial services is an advantage
- Candidates who moved from consulting into corporate strategy or private equity will be considered

Qualifications:
- Robust academic record in commerce, economics, engineering, mathematics, science or law
- MBA from a leading business school is an advantage but not required
