We are partnering with a premier Australian software vendor and cloud solutions provider that builds highly secure, fully managed private cloud ecosystems for tier-one banking, finance, and government clients.
They are looking for a heavy-hitting Principal DevOps / Platform Engineer to take architectural ownership of their core private cloud operations and bare-metal infrastructure.
What you will bring:
- Hands-on experience getting into the weeds with physical hardware, bare-metal servers, datacentre-level infrastructure, and core virtualisation hypervisors (OpenStack, VMware ESXi, KVM).
- Robust background building, tuning, and automating high-throughput messaging infrastructure (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Strong competency building modular infrastructure and declarative pipelines from scratch using Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Bash.
- Proven experience operating within zero-trust, highly regulated, or air-gapped enterprise environments.
