Senior FP&A; Manager – Financial Modelling

4-Month Contract | Sydney CBD | Immediate Start Preferred An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior FP&A; Manager to join an established finance team on an initial 4-month contract, with a particular focus on financial modelling, process improvement and half-year reporting.

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging existing processes and building financial models that are more efficient, accurate and commercially useful.

The Role

Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will take ownership of reviewing and rebuilding existing financial models, simplifying complex processes and improving the overall quality and usability of financial information.

Your responsibilities will include

- Reviewing and rebuilding existing financial models to improve efficiency, accuracy and functionality.
- Streamlining complex models, ensuring they are robust, scalable and easy to maintain.
- Identifying opportunities to automate and improve existing FP&A; processes.
- Developing more effective financial reporting and analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Supporting the finance team through the half-year reporting process, including financial analysis, commentary and management reporting.
- Partnering with senior finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical improvements.





About You We are looking for a technically strong FP&A; professional who can quickly understand existing models, identify areas for improvement and deliver tangible results within a short timeframe.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Significant experience in FP&A;, ideally at Senior Manager level.
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills – essential.
- Proven experience building, reviewing and improving complex financial models.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
- Experience supporting half-year or year-end reporting processes.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
