Australia Zoo is seeking an energetic, adaptable, and forward-thinking Senior HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team. This isn't your standard desk job. Here, no two days are ever the same and you could be required anywhere across our 700 acre grounds.

Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the successful candidate will champion the following:

- Leadership & Team Supervision: Oversee and mentor the current HR team members.

- Employee Relations & Guidance: Provide expert counsel on performance management, disciplinary matters, and general employee guidance.

- Workplace Investigations: Conduct thorough workplace investigations with discretion, fairness, and professionalism.

- Culture & Organisational Improvement: Perform regular department culture reviews, deliver actionable feedback, and champion workplace performance enhancements.

- Training & Leadership Development: Implement targeted training initiatives to address evolving workplace challenges and build leadership capabilities.

- Compliance & Reporting: Assist with wage reviews, audits, award compliance, policy updates, and champion annual Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting.
