Job Title: Senior IGA Specialist | Permanent Full Time

Location

This role supports flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid model with the option to work from both the office and home. We are seeking candidates based in Australia.

Key Purpose The Senior IGA Specialist plans, designs and delivers Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions for clients with complex identity environments. The role works with internal stakeholders, external clients, senior consultants and Leadership to take each solution from requirements through to deployment.

You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) across IGA platforms, setting and maintaining best practice for configuration, integration, lifecycle management, access certification and role design, and providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

About Us

Identifly is a fast-growing cybersecurity consultancy specialising in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance. We're known for our technical depth, reliability, and pragmatic approach.

1. We've grown rapidly since 2019 and pride ourselves on our high-performing team, tailored training plans, and culture that balances excellence with having fun. We are rapidly becoming Australia's best-known IAM provider and a trusted partner to clients in Adelaide and across the country.

About You

You will be responsible for delivering specialised Identity Governance consultancy services to a number of our valued clients.

You have deep, hands-on experience delivering SailPoint (IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud) and/or Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud, and you have led IGA implementations end to end, not just contributed to them.

You will have exceptional customer engagement skills and a passion for complex problem solving. You will be a critical thinker with strong technical acumen, comfortable owning a technical design and being accountable for its outcome.

You will bring proven experience with IGA workflows, lifecycle states, access requests, access reviews and certifications, custom rules, RBAC design, and integration with target applications via REST APIs, SCIM, JDBC and database connectors, LDAP and cloud directories.

You will have designed and optimised Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes with HR as the authoritative source.

We also work heavily with Okta, Entra ID, CyberArk, Delinea, Silverfort and CrowdStrike, and experience in some of these is highly regarded.

Importantly, the concepts these platforms support (Zero Trust Architecture, password management, MFA, SSO, contextual access, risk-based auth, roles, HR as a master, automated provisioning, segregation of duties and privileged access management) must be well understood, and you must be able to communicate them.

Strong recent experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect and M365 is valued. Experience with device management and device authentication is preferred.

Identity systems connect with everything, so understanding IAM in a larger digital context is crucial.

Experience with SIEMs, SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday and ServiceNow is highly regarded.

You will take the initiative and work comfortably without supervision, managing client expectations autonomously and reporting to senior consultants and Leadership on progress, risks and issues.

Communication is key. Your written communication skills must be on point, as a large part of this role will be communicating complex ideas in documents including architecture, technical designs, options analysis, as-built documentation, presentations and tender responses.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes The Senior IGA Specialist is responsible for delivering quality IGA solutions and support to clients:

1.

Leading the technical design and implementation of IGA solutions on SailPoint and Saviynt, including identity lifecycle, access request, certification and role management.
2. Proactively engaging with key external stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand their requirements, business direction and technical landscape.
3. Interfacing and coordinating tasks with internal and external technical resources, including working with Project Managers to provide estimates, develop implementation plans and lead implementations.
4. Evaluating new technologies and solutions in consultation with key vendors.
5. Managing client relationships at an operational level. You won’t be expected to manage contracts, but you will be required to maintain relationships, with particular emphasis on communicating the status of work in a timely and professional manner.
6. Generating high-quality documents and diagrams including requirements and design documents, architecture diagrams and models, test plans, detailed test cases, as-built, risk assessments, implementations, and project plans.
7. Performing system configuration, functional and integration testing, and deploying solutions.
8. Providing technical support to clients and maintenance of deployed technologies. 9. Reporting on progress, billable hours and deliverables including weekly time writing.
9. Working autonomously to troubleshoot complex technical issues and report on resolution.
10. Identifying existing and potential issues, security risks and design matters in overall system and solution architecture.
11. Assisting with completing tender documents for prospective clients.
12. Providing technical leadership and work guidance to less experienced engineers, including design and configuration review.
13. Contributing to Identifly IGA standards, reusable patterns, delivery methodology and IGA training plans. 15. Assisting in other duties as given by the Directors and Identifly senior staff.
14. Delivering client outcomes with high quality and according to timelines.
15. Interacting with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times.

Working Relationships This role will work closely with internal and external key stakeholders to understand business and technical needs of our clients, including the deployment and maintenance of technology solutions for our clients.
