An exciting role is available for a Senior Product Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role is an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to work with an Australian luxury brand focusing on creation, planning, evaluation and execution of projects to help Glasshouse and Circa maintain its competitive stance in the market. This role is a 5 day a week position with flexible working arrangements from our head office in Rydalmere.
What you'll do:
- Deliver projects as per 12-24 month rolling calendar.
- Analyse and predict outcomes of projects and plans while balancing the need to be supportive to other departments dependent on outcomes from your work.
- Recent Product Development (NDP) and forecasting of business requirements in line with financial benchmarks, quality and safety requirements.
- Lead innovation, renovation & non innovation led growth projects to ensure on time - in full delivery.
- Product lifecycle management.
- Ensure high quality standards are met at all stages of the process,
in line with Sapphire Group’s gate process.
- Strategically plan, architect and produce product specification requirements in alignment with quality assurance and control regulations
- Ensure all product testing is carried out on time and in full and set against product specifications and quality standards across all ranges
- Co-ordinate with purchasing to ensure that all product specifications, suppliers' information, lead time and cost analysis are complete
- Work with cross-departmental teams and external suppliers in relation to Brand Development, Technical and Supply Chain planning
- Support team members in problem solving, drive team motivation and lead by example in fostering collaboration across business departments
- Budget management and reporting
Who you are:
- Highly responsible person, with high energy levels, motivation and exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional or Tertiary qualified
- NPD project management experience / 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Fragrance or beauty industry experience is a plus
- High level analytical, organisational and problem solving skills
- Experience in managing creatives, pre-press and print management
- Proactive, decisive and results driven with strong bias for action
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate well
