We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who wants real responsibility, client ownership, and a pathway to progression.
The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality accounting and tax outcomes.
You’ll work closely with advisers and directors, with exposure to strategy, structuring, and advisory — not just compliance.
Open to discussions about equity in the business from day 1.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of business and individual clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS
- Providing tax planning and structuring advice
- Reviewing work completed by junior accountants
- Liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to add value beyond compliance
About You
You’re technically strong, commercially minded, and confident dealing with clients.
You’ll likely have:
- CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- 5 years’ experience in public practice
- Tax Agent License Holder - highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring others
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A desire to grow with a firm, not just sit in a role
