Jane in Surry Hills is looking for an experienced waiter to join our team!

Jane is a neighbourhood bar and restaurant in Surry Hills serving only Australian ingredients, we push the boundaries and showcase how amazing what we have right on our door-step really is.
With a small team we all work together to elevate the guests' experience, and have time for some fun during service too.
We have a strong focus on guest experience and providing a positive environment to let our staff thrive.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced waiter to join the team, this is a casual role offering 15-25 hours per week.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- support our managers and assist in leading and developing a strong and well-established FOH team
- Ensure that the level of customer service is consistently in line with our standards.
- Maintain an exceptional level of service.
- Have a confident level of knowledge in wines/spirits/cocktails and contribute and elevate the development of our offering.
- Assist the manager with opening and closing the restaurants
- Provide feedback to the manager regarding rostering requirements, staff issues, customer feedback
REQUIREMENTS
- prior experience within restaurants/bars - the ideal candidate would have experience as a waiter and bartender, however we would also provide training for someone who has experience in one area but willing to learn another
- Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop staff
- Sound level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
