Natural Beginnings Gordonvale is seeking a passionate, experienced and capable Service Manager to lead our early learning service and support its continued development. About the Role

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational management and ongoing improvement of Natural Beginnings Gordonvale. You will lead from the front, building a culture of professional accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring children, families and educators feel valued and supported. We are looking for someone who can balance the operational demands of running a service with the ability to inspire a team, strengthen educational practice and build lasting connections with families and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide visible, supportive and effective leadership across all aspects of the service.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, regulatory compliance and curriculum implementation.
- Build a positive workplace culture through coaching, mentoring, constructive feedback and collaborative practice.
- Support educators to deliver engaging learning experiences that promote children's development, wellbeing and sense of belonging.
- Establish strong, trusting partnerships with families and actively engage with the Gordonvale community.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrolments, strengthen family engagement and build the service's reputation.
- Lead continuous improvement in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and approved learning frameworks.
- Maintain a solid focus on financial sustainability, effective resource management and responsible operational decision-making.

About You

You are a confident and approachable early childhood leader who understands that a successful service is built on strong relationships, capable educators and a shared commitment to quality.

You will bring

- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, as applicable to the role and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in an early learning leadership role, such as Service Manager,



Centre Director or Assistant Director.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, EYLF and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of educators.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage positively with families and community stakeholders.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to operational management, staffing and service improvement.
- A commitment to high-quality educational practice, child safety and positive outcomes for children and families.
- The ability to identify opportunities for growth and turn them into practical, achievable improvements.
