Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 Superannuation Company Vehicle

About the role & Client.

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee the service and maintenance operations of a well-established commercial mechanical services contractor. This role will suit a commercially minded leader with a strong technical background in HVAC, proven experience managing service teams and the ability to build lasting client relationships. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the service division, including operational delivery, financial results, customer satisfaction and team development.

Our client is a national HVAC contractor who works with Australia's leading FM, Healthcare, Education, Government and Construction contractors.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily service and maintenance operations across commercial HVAC contracts





- Lead, mentor and develop HVAC technicians, supervisors and service coordinators

- Oversee preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and emergency breakdowns

- Manage client relationships and ensure service level agreements are achieved

- Prepare quotations, manage budgets and monitor job profitability

- Coordinate technician scheduling, labour allocation and subcontractors

- Identify opportunities to grow the service portfolio and secure new business

- Monitor KPIs, labour utilisation, revenue and gross profit margins

- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, relevant Australian Standards and company procedures

- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and operational efficiency

About you

- Previous experience as an HVAC Service Manager or in a similar senior service leadership role

- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical services

- Experience managing maintenance contracts, reactive works and service teams

- Proven ability to manage budgets, quoting, financial performance and profitability

- Strong leadership, communication and client relationship skills

- Commercially focused with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
- A commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction
