About the role

RBS Projects Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Sydney, NSW for an upcoming construction/refurbishment project.

As Site

Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and site operations.

What we offer

- Initial six-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension. (Currently project specific role)

- Salary range of $120,000 - 150,000 + super (Pro rata), depending on experience

What you'll be doing

- Supervising and directing all on-site construction activities, including daily work schedules, resource allocation, and workforce management

- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards across all site operations

- Monitoring project progress against timelines

- Managing site logistics, including the coordination of materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities





- Conducting daily site inspections and maintaining comprehensive documentation of project milestones and compliance records

- Communicating effectively with project stakeholders

- Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure all work meets contractual specifications and industry standards

- Managing site documentation, including permits, safety records, progress reports, and variation orders

- Identifying and resolving site-based issues, including technical challenges and interpersonal conflicts

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Preferably minimun of 5 years' previous experience as a Site Manager or experienced Site Supervisor within commercial construction

- Demonstrated experience independently managing commercial construction projects, ideally valued between $1M and $5M.

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and subcontractor coordination.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and services drawings.

- Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and construction quality standards.

- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently manage site operations and coordinate multiple trades.

- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.

- Relevant trade background or construction qualifications (advantageous).

- Experience using Procore or similar construction management software (advantageous).

- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry compliance requirements in Current South Wales

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants
