Site Supervisor/Foreman – Full Time, Permanent Position

Central Vic Civil is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering quality civil construction projects.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations and lead our site teams. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, maintaining site standards and keeping projects on track.

Site Operations & Delivery

- Plan and coordinate daily works in line with project schedules.
- Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to maximise productivity.
- Monitor progress, identify delays and resolve site issues as they arise.

Safety, Quality & Setting

- Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Monitor works against construction drawings, specifications and ITPs.
- Identify hazards, report incidents and maintain safe work practices.

Team & Subcontractor Management

- Delegate tasks and supervise site crews and subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality of work.
- Support and mentor Leading Hands and team members, fostering a positive team culture.

Administration & Reporting

- Maintain accurate site diaries, timesheets, permits and project records.




- Report variations, risks, delays and progress to the Project Manager.
- Ensure site documentation and employee records are completed accurately and on time.

About You You’re an organised, practical and reliable leader who can bring a team together, solve problems on site and balance safety, quality, productivity and cost.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating crews, plant and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and relevant documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to planning, accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Tickets

- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Current drivers licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Traffic Management, Confined Space, Trenching and Shoring tickets will be highly regarded.
