About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with strong Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP) construction experience. You'll be involved in the delivery of projects from procurement and planning through to construction, commissioning and handover. Be part of Australia’s first commercial-scale facility of its kind, generating enough renewable natural gas to meet the needs of an estimated 2,000 South Australian homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the Project Manager in delivering SMP construction projects

- Coordinating structural, mechanical and piping works

- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site activities

- Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and technical documentation

- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, cost control and progress reporting

- Coordinating procurement and material requirements

- Managing RFIs, technical queries and project documentation

- Monitoring construction progress, quality and compliance

- Working closely with clients, engineers, supervisors and trades

- Identifying issues early and developing practical solutions

About you

- Engineering qualification in Mechanical,



Civil, Structural or a related discipline

- Demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer within SMP construction

- Experience across mining, resources, industrial, infrastructure or heavy industry construction projects

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills

- Current Australian driver's licence
