From humble beginnings in 1929 as a cordial and fruit peel manufacturer in inner city Melbourne, Edlyn Foods has grown to become a nationally recognised key supplier to the Foodservice Industry, providing Beverage, Bakery, Dessert, Condiment and Culinary preparations to our customers Australia wide.

With manufacturing facilities in Victoria (Epping & Maryborough), Queensland (Nerang) & South Australia (Dublin) and multiple sales and warehouse / distribution offices nationally, due to continued business growth, an excellent opportunity now exists for an accomplished sales professional to lead our sales performance in South Australia.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to our Head of Sales, you will take full responsibility for Edlyn’s sales across South Australia. You will maintain and grow robust relationships with our key accounts, including arranging promotional activities and strengthen our presence with distributors and end user customers throughout the state.

Key responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to):

- Achieving your annual sales budget targets (sales to budget)

- Efficiently and effectively managing your sales territory achieving 60% of your time with your end user customers (Clubs, Pubs, Hotels, Cafes, Schools and Aged care, Restaurants etc..) and 40% of time with distributors.

- Managing and developing key end users and distributor accounts.

- Using your foodservice knowledge to identify potential customers in line with Edlyn capabilities.

- Negotiating foodservice deals and maintaining key customer contacts at senior levels.





- Updating the CRM system regularly with accurate records of customer calls and pipeline.

To be considered for this opportunity, we want to hear from applicants who have:
- A strong track record of delivering results in foodservice or food industry sales and of introducing new strategies for continued growth.

- Sound knowledge of the South Australian market, with established relationships a distinct advantage.

- Knowledge of food ingredients and food manufacturing processes.

- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a commercial focus.

- Business acumen, including an understanding of profit management, business planning and delivering on performance and revenue targets.

- Most importantly, the drive and self-motivation to work autonomously, while collaborating with our national sales team.

For this role, Edlyn Foods supports a hybrid work model, with the successful applicant able to be based anywhere within the Greater Adelaide area. Regular travel to our Head Office in Epping, VIC will be required, along with regional / local travel to visit customers, distributors, manufacturing sites and other business locations as needed.
