Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Staff management: Supervise, train, and support team members.
- Customer service: Ensure customers receive friendly and professional service.
- Sales management: Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving sales targets.
- Stock control: Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and stocktakes.
- Store operations: Ensure the store is clean, organised, and operating efficiently.
- Cash handling: Oversee cash registers, daily sales, and financial transactions.
- Visual merchandising: Maintain attractive product displays and store presentation.
- Administration: Prepare staff rosters, sales reports, and other store records.
- Health and safety: Ensure the store follows workplace health and safety procedures.
- Problem-solving: Handle customer complaints and resolve staff or operational issues.

Basic Skills and Qualifications
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Organisation and time-management skills.
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.




- Previous retail or supervisory experience is usually preferred.

Halls Creek Home is seeking a friendly, trustworthy, and motivated Store Manager to lead our small, diverse retail store in the heart of the Kimberley region.

We are a one-stop shop for the local community, stocking everything from beds, phones, plants, and toys to much more! If customers want it, we can get it.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who can create a welcoming environment for both staff and customers, take pride in the store’s appearance, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
