What you’ll do in an average week

- Take full end-to-end accountability for your store: sales, KPIs, promotions and merchandising standards
- Lead and inspire your team to deliver a customer experience that keeps people coming back
- Execute the fundamentals exceptionally well, including stock on shelf, VM, inventory, cleanliness and loss prevention
- Bring your team along with new initiatives and ideas, whether they’re yours or theirs
- Be the face of the store and build relationships across the Grafton community, uncovering new commercial sales opportunities

Here’s what it will take You’re an accomplished Store Manager (or an ASM ready to step up) from a medium or large-format retail environment, with a reputation for getting the best out of both people and performance. You’ll bring:

- Experience leading a sizeable, high-volume store with plenty of moving parts
- A strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- A genuine feel for the numbers, with sharp financial control across wages, shrinkage and inventory
- Strong retail instincts across stock availability, merchandising and customer service
- The confidence to create structure and make decisions in a store that’s still finding its rhythm
- A visible, approachable, decisive leadership style, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Plenty of energy and ambition, and a genuine love of what you do
