We are a growing CNC machining and manufacturing company seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role that is vital to the smooth operation of our business. You will be responsible for receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing customer orders, and making local deliveries. No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse, logistics, and customer-facing responsibilities.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and checking incoming goods and materials
- Packing and dispatching finished components to customers
- Organising freight and courier bookings
- Managing goods inwards and outwards documentation
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely
- Conducting local customer deliveries and supplier pickups
- Assisting with general stores and workshop duties
- Keeping the warehouse and storage areas clean and organised
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a current Australian driver's licence
- Is reliable, punctual, and well organised
- Takes pride in attention to detail and accuracy
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable but Not Essential
- Experience in stores, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting
