Imagine joining a small, ambitious Sydney team preparing to create an Apple Store-inspired experience for ergonomic furniture and workspaces.

At Sit And Move, we're developing a new 600 m² Ergonomic Experience Centre on Parramatta Road in Camperdown, with the capacity to expand to 1,000 m², scheduled to open in late 2027.

We're looking for a friendly, motivated and organised person who enjoys working with customers to join us now, learn the business and help shape this exciting new retail experience.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with us as we expand.

The Role – Showroom Sales, Customer Service & Administration

This is a varied, hands-on role combining face-to-face customer interaction, product demonstrations, sales and everyday business administration.

You’ll help customers discover ergonomic chairs, desks, workstations and accessories, while ensuring their enquiries and orders are handled professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers and assisting them in our showroom.
- Demonstrating products and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries.
- Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.
- Processing orders, invoices and payments.
- Coordinating suppliers, deliveries and customer follow-up.
- Assisting with general showroom and business administration.

We need someone who enjoys working with people as much as keeping things organised.

About You

You may come from retail sales, showroom customer service, furniture, homewares, appliances, hospitality, reception or another customer-facing environment.

We’re particularly interested in people who:

- Enjoy meeting and helping customers face-to-face.




- Communicate confidently and have a friendly, professional manner.
- Are comfortable discussing products and assisting with sales.
- Are organised, reliable and confident using computers.
- Have initiative, enjoy variety and take responsibility for getting things done.
- Are curious, willing to learn and enjoy working in a small team.

You don't need experience in ergonomics or specialised furniture. We'll teach you.

Your attitude, customer service skills and willingness to learn are what matter most.
