SIMPEC are currently mid-way through construction of a recent filtration plant at McArthur River Mine, one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin in the Northern Territory.

We're seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join the team ASAP.

The Role:

- Monitor daily works, including quality inspections, daily progress reporting and safety leadership activities.
- Coordinate work crews, plant, equipment, and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets, safely.
- Mentor, engage and motivate the work crews through effective and proactive communication.
- Review work packaging and detailed planning.
- Compliance with relevant electrical safety standards, such as AS/NZA 3000 (Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules), is mandatory.



These standards outline the best practices for electrical installations and ensure safety in electrical work.

About You:

- NT Electrical License (or ability obtain prior to commencement).
- Low Voltage Rescue & Provide CPR Certification.
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).
- A minimum 4 years industry experience in a Supervisory role.
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and risk management.
- Ability to lead by example and promote a positive safety culture.
