Job Description

Build production-ready applications and AI solutions for a major asset performance program. Your new company Join a large, complex organisation delivering the next generation of asset performance capability.

This organisation is investing in practical digital and AI solutions that improve asset health, maintenance workflows and operational decision-making. This is an immediate-start, 8-month contract based in Brisbane, with hybrid working and the potential for extension. Your new role

Design, build and support responsive applications, APIs, services and reusable components. Develop AI-enabled features such as intelligent search, summarisation, recommendations and natural-language interfaces. Connect enterprise platforms and trusted data through secure integrations and data pipelines.

Use SQL, Python and modern web or server-side technologies to deliver reliable solutions. Apply retrieval, orchestration, model evaluation and responsible AI controls where appropriate. Work with stakeholders to refine requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities.

Embed automated testing, monitoring, logging, secure coding and CI/CD practices. Support prototyping, demonstrations, deployment, defect resolution and transition into BAU support. What you'll need to succeed

Commercial experience delivering production applications across front-end, back-end, APIs, data and integrations.



Practical experience building generative AI or machine learning solutions, including prompts, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation and monitoring. Robust SQL and Python skills, plus experience with modern web technologies and at least one server-side language or framework.

Knowledge of cloud services, APIs, identity, enterprise integration patterns and multi-source data. Experience with source control, automated testing, observability, CI/CD and secure deployment. An understanding of privacy, model risk, human oversight and responsible AI in an enterprise setting.

Strong stakeholder engagement and business analysis skills, with the ability to turn business needs into testable requirements. Exposure to asset management, maintenance, reliability, industrial environments or platforms such as Azure AI, Microsoft Power Platform, SAP or comparable enterprise technologies will be highly regarded.
