Job Description

OXFORD HOTEL OPCO PTY LTD Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with the Head Chef and kitchen team to plan, review and update menus, daily specials and seasonal dining options, ensuring food offerings meet customer preferences and The Oxford Hotel's service standards. Coordinating and overseeing dining arrangements and catering services for private functions, corporate gatherings, celebrations and special events, ensuring appropriate staffing, food service and customer requirements are efficiently managed.

Managing the procurement of food, beverages and restaurant supplies, negotiating with suppliers and reviewing menu pricing to maintain cost efficiency, profitability and compliance with allocated operational budgets. Maintaining accurate records of food and beverage inventory, monitoring stock usage and wastage, and reviewing daily sales, financial transactions and expenditure to support effective restaurant operations. Supervising the cleanliness, presentation and functionality of dining areas, restaurant facilities and food service equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene and workplace health regulations.

Engaging with customers to obtain feedback on food quality, dining experiences and service standards, addressing complaints and implementing improvements to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Recruiting, training,



rostering and supervising front-of-house, waiting and kitchen staff, providing operational guidance and monitoring employee performance to ensure efficient restaurant operations and consistent service delivery. Overseeing restaurant reservations, welcoming guests and coordinating table allocations, while assisting with customer orders and dining arrangements during busy service periods to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Qualification and Experience AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) Minimum 1-3 year experience required About Company The Oxford Hotel is a well-established hospitality venue located in the heart of Leederville, Western Australia, operating since 1906.
