OXFORD HOTEL OPCO PTY LTD Key Responsibilities: Planning and developing menus, daily specials and function catering options, calculating ingredient and labour costs, and coordinating the ordering of food supplies to support The Oxford Hotel's kitchen operations. Supervising and assessing the quality, freshness, taste and presentation of dishes throughout the preparation, cooking and plating stages to maintain consistent food standards.

Liaising with hotel management, kitchen personnel and front-of-house staff regarding food preparation requirements, customer dietary preferences, menu adjustments and productive coordination of meal services. Demonstrating professional cooking techniques and providing guidance to kitchen staff on food preparation methods, cooking procedures, recipe standards and appropriate presentation of dishes. The Oxford Hotel's menu, including traditional pub favourites, grilled meats, seafood, pizzas, contemporary Australian dishes and meals for private functions and special events. Implementing, explaining and enforcing food safety and hygiene procedures, ensuring kitchen staff follow appropriate sanitation practices, safe food handling requirements and applicable health regulations. Assisting with the recruitment,



induction and training of kitchen employees and apprentices, providing guidance on cooking techniques, food preparation, kitchen procedures and maintaining consistent culinary standards.

Overseeing the appropriate freezing, preservation, labelling and storage of raw ingredients and prepared food products to maintain freshness, prevent contamination and minimise food wastage. Qualification and Experience AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) Minimum 1–3 years of experience required About Company
