Night Shift availability required

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Team Member to join our team at our service station and café in Nambucca Heads. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment. You will be based on-site at our Nambucca Heads NSW 2448 location, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy interacting with a diverse range of customers.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, efficient service at the café and service station counter

- Taking customer orders accurately and preparing food and beverages to the required standard

- Operating the point-of-sale system and processing payments securely and accurately

- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, including the kitchen, café, and service areas

- Restocking supplies and ensuring shelves and displays are well-organised and appealing

- Preparing sandwiches, hot food items, and other café offerings to order with attention to quality and presentation

- Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously

- Supporting the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

- Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment, particularly during peak hours





- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work, ideally in a café or hospitality setting

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety

- Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and processing transactions

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual shifts as required

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude

- Desirable: Food handling certifications or previous experience in a similar role

- Police check required
