About the role

STUZZi is a brand-recent Italian-inspired deli, café and neighbourhood restaurant coming to Sydney's vibrant Inner West. By day, STUZZi will be serving breakfast and lunch, seven days a week, with an Italian-inspired deli and café offering. From Thursday to Saturday evenings, the venue will transform into a stuzzichini bar, serving small Italian-inspired plates, drinks and snacks in a relaxed neighbourhood setting. Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help prepare and deliver food across breakfast, lunch and evening service. You'll be involved in everything from café and deli prep through to evening stuzzichini service. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy kitchen, maintaining high standards and working as part of a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities

- * Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with recipes and specifications

- * Work across breakfast, lunch and evening service as required

- * Manage your section during service

- * Assist with preparation for deli,



café and evening stuzzichini offering

- * Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency

- * Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards

- * Store ingredients correctly, monitor stock and minimise waste

- * Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team during busy services

- * Contribute to a positive, respectful and well-organised kitchen environment

About you

- * Kitchen experience as a chef, cook or commis chef, with sound cooking and food safety skills

- * Reliable, organised and supportive of your team

- * Take pride in what you produce, care about quality and presentation

- * Enjoy working in a busy, hands-on kitchen

- * An interest in Italian food and cooking is a bonus

- * Keen to learn, contribute and grow with the venue
