An opportunity is available for an experienced APS6-level recruitment qualified to join a Commonwealth Government organisation in Canberra. This role will suit someone who can step straight into a busy recruitment environment, confidently advise senior stakeholders and manage recruitment activity with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism.
The opportunity
- Salary: $100,000 – $112,000 + 15.4% super
- Start ASAP
- Canberra-based
- Baseline security clearance required
- 12-month non-ongoing opportunity
- Potential for temporary s26 transfer arrangements, with opportunity through to March 2028
Essential requirementsTo be successful, you will bring:
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within the APS or Commonwealth environment
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Executive-level hiring managers and senior internal stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Strong understanding of APS recruitment practices and processes
- The maturity and judgement to provide credible, confident recruitment advice
- Ability to manage competing priorities and recruitment activity with a high level of autonomy
- Current Baseline security clearance
- Ability to commence at short notice or within the coming weeks
This position will particularly suit a mature APS recruitment professional who is comfortable working with senior leaders, can navigate complex stakeholder relationships and can hit the ground running.
