Collier & Miller is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to support our Engineering Workshop operations in Griffith NSW. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading and storage of engineering materials, machinery components, and equiptment within a busy environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to move engineering materials, steel products and machinery components.
- Load, unload, store and position materials and equipment in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Support workshop teams by ensuring materials and parts are available when required.
- Assist with receiving, dispatch and inventory movement activities.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain safe working practices at all times.
About You:
- Current
High Risk Work License (Forklift).
- Current C Class Driver’s License.
- Experience operating forklifts in engineering, manufacturing, warehouse or industrial
environments.
- Strong understanding of load restraint, material handling, and workplace safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop workplace.
