Technical Project Manager – Resources A leading resources company is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a significant application migration program. This is a hands-on delivery role where you will drive the migration of a broad application portfolio onto a modern identity and hosting platform, working closely with technical teams, vendors and the business.

This opportunity suits a technically credible project manager who can talk authentication, certificates and integrations with engineers just as comfortably as they can present schedules and risks to executives.

- $1,100 per day inclusive of super

THE ROLE

You will take ownership of planning and delivering the application migration program from discovery through to cutover, coordinating input across infrastructure, security, vendors and application owners to ensure a smooth transition for the business.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading end-to-end planning and delivery of the application migration program
- Coordinating Entra ID migration approaches, including application authentication and SSO changes
- Overseeing SSL certificate remediation and infrastructure hosting changes
- Managing application integration and API dependencies throughout the migration




- Planning and executing migration cutovers, including rollback and business readiness
- Working directly with infrastructure engineers, architects, software vendors and application owners
- Maintaining project schedules, RAID logs and budgets
- Providing clear status updates and executive reporting to senior stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience leading application migration programs as a Technical Project Manager
- Solid understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD), modern authentication and SSO
- Exposure to SSL/certificate management, infrastructure hosting changes and application integrations/APIs
- Strong track record planning and executing migration cutovers
- Confident managing schedules, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Excellent stakeholder management, from technical teams through to executive level
- Resources or mining sector experience highly regarded
