About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Trade Assistant / Apprentice to support our qualified installers. This role offers an excellent entry point into the renewable energy sector, providing hands-on experience, professional training, and the opportunity to progress within the trade.
You will work under the supervision of a qualified electrician, assisting in the installation of solar and battery systems, while developing the practical skills and technical knowledge required for a long-term career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of solar and battery system installations
- Safely handle tools, equipment, and materials on-site
- Prepare and maintain work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with wiring, cabling, and assembly of system components under supervision
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company installation standards
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Skills & Attributes
- Genuine interest in renewable energy and the electrical trade
- Robust work ethic with a demonstrated willingness to learn
- Physically capable and confident when working at heights
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused
Qualifications & Requirements
- White Card (must be obtained prior to commencement)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Working at heights certification (or willingness to obtain)

Hourly Rate
Apprentice: $26 - $30
Trade Assistant: $35 - $39
